Black British Music Launch

After dropping a culturally acclaimed debeut album, Jim Legxacy’s trajectory took off, producing on songs with Dave & Central Cee, and dropping singles that took off even further. Then came the hardest thing, doing it all over again. But with Black British Music he somehow climbed even higher with the critical and social acclaim growing even further. 

 

But the one thing that’s always been pertinent to Jim Legxacy is paying homage to the streets, the kids, and the youth experiences that shape his music. So when it came time to do his album launch, he took it back to Deptford, and back to the streets that raised him. Poping up in a car park off the main road hundreds of people came out to watch him perform his new material for the first time. 

 

Taking a step back we focused on documentary style coverage, capturing the people his music touches, and a generation of people who’ve found a space to feel seen.
